Atticus {Cake Smash}

Happy 1st Birthday to this sweet little guy!  He recently celebrated his first birthday and had to wait for my arm to heal so I could take his pictures.  He is so adorable and has the most beautiful blue eyes.  Atticus looked so handsome in his little suspenders and tie.  I just loved everything about his session.  These are some of my favorites.

 

Helena {Cake Smash}

Happy 1st Birthday to this adorable little girl!  Seems like yesterday I was taking her newborn pictures.  Helena is such a sweet little thing and so stinking adorable.  I had so much fun taking her pictures.  She was perfectly content sitting on the couch and looking fabulous.  As for the cake, she was a little unsure, but still enjoyed it quite a bit.  I loved the set up and the colors of her Cake Smash.  These are some of my favorites.

 

Devon {Senior Portraits}

This handsome young man is Devon.  I was excited that my arm healed enough so I could take his Senior Portraits.  He will be graduating from San Pasqual High School in a few weeks as part of the Class of 2016 and he is excited to head off to the Air Force Academy to pursue an education in engineering.  He was so easy going, and as the shoot progressed I could see that he was getting more and more at ease with the whole thing - and I think it shows in the final results.  These are some of my favorites. 

 

 

Mary {Maternity Portraits}

This was the first and last photo shoot I did 3 weeks ago after fracturing my elbow.  Although the tide was high, the weather was hot, and my elbow hurt I was still able to get some beautiful shots of this beautiful Mommy who is expecting her second child.  They are such a sweet little family and I'm so excited to meet their new little one.  These are some of my favorites from their session.

 

Ryan {5 Year Portraits}

I've been taking pictures of Ryan for 5 years now, which is so hard to believe.  Since he's autistic, his mom and I have to work really hard to get him to participate and of course look at the camera.  He loves to walk or run away from me and he always gives me the best looks which just make me laugh.  He has the sweetest personality and when he does smile, his eyes literally sparkle!  So after he decided he was done he climbed in my car to leave...and believe it or not that is where I was able to capture the best pictures of his contagious smile and sparkling eyes!  These are some of my favorites.

 

 

Chris & Nikki {Reception}

Chris and Nikki were recently married in Florida but came out to Valley Center, where Chris grew up, to have an Open House Reception.  It was such a beautiful event, with amazing décor and delicious food.  These are some highlights from such a fun evening.
