Ben & Sofia {Happy Birthday}

I love photographing birthday parties!  There is always so much going on and I love being able to let the parents enjoy the party and enjoy their kids and guests.  This was a very special party for one courageous pirate named Ben who was turning 5 and the most beautifulmermaid named Sofia who was turning 4!!

Ryan {1st Birthday}

It was a windy wet day but that didn't stop Ryan from celebrating his 1st Birthday!  This event was supposed to be held in a park but then had to be moved indoors due to the weather.  The craziness of a first birthday can always seem overwhelming, especially to Mom, so I was asked to come and take the party pictures so she could enjoy her birthday boy and her guests.  It was a good thing she didn't have to worry about pictures because her hubby woke up that morning with the flu and unfortunately wasn't there to experince the fun and help her out.  Glad I could ease the burden a little and I got some great pictures.

Mackenzie {Bridal Shower}

I'm a little late posting pictures of two recent events that I've done so I'm back tracking a little bit.  These are pictures of Mackenzie's Bridal Shower back in February. 

We all spend so much time planning birthday parties, baby showers, bridals showers, holiday parties, etc and then we often find ourselves behind the camera to capture every moment and never really get to appreciate and enjoy all of our hardwork.  So for that reason I was asked to photograph this event so that the hostesses could relax and enjoy themselves along with the other guests.  It was a beautiful shower and everyone had a really good time!
