The Color of Love {Hansen Family}

I was so excited to take these pictures today!  A fellow photographer told me about this cool place to take pictures and it was a perfect setting for this family's photo shoot.  I LOVE all the colors and how they just "POP."  My friend, Toni, wanted to get some family photos done as a gift for her Dad for his birthday, but she wanted something unique.  With it being summer there were a lot of bees buzzing around which limited some of our photos; however, I think they turned out great and did I mention how much I LOVE the colors?!?

Summer Days {Moonlight Beach}

Our first trip to the beach this summer was not only hot and relaxing but a great place to get some pictures of the kids having fun with their friends.  It was also fun watching little Ryan experience the beach for the first time...not too excited about the sand being on his hands but definitely preferred it over the water.  The beach always makes a beautiful setting for pictures...these are a few of my favorites from yesterday!

TWO Adorable {Payton}

I've been taking pictures of this little one since she was born.  I can hardly believe that Payton is already 2 years old...her birthday was in March and her Mom and I were finally able to get together and get some quick pictures of her.  I say quick because she is always on the MOVE!!!  She is going to be a big sister on Friday as her family welcomes baby #4 Kendal.  So excited for their growing family and super excited to not only meet baby Kendal but take her pictures!

 I love taking pictures of children.  When they are younger they smile without trying and as they get older they try REALLY hard to smile...makes for some memorable grins that's for sure!

GEAR UP {SMHS Graduation}

It was so cool to go to my Mom's allumni, San Marcos High School, to be a photographer for Palomar College's GEAR UP program.  The school is under mass deconstruction but that didn't stop the excitement of the Graduation festivities!  It's a school full of traditions!  I  LOVED the Knight that rode in on the white horse with his sword drawn as well as all the ROTC members that held up swords while all the graduates walked under them.  The staff were great to work with and so were the kids.  Congratulations to the Class of 2012!!!
