I had the wonderful priviledge of going to the new race track in Lake Elsinore yesterday not only to take pictures for Elkins Racing but to watch my talented younger brother, Jonathan, race. It was a great day of family and friends there to support him and cheer for Elkins Racing #32. I was able to rent an awesome lense and register as a Media member so I could get up close to take pictures during the races. Jonathan did so awesome, taking second in his qualifier. Then during the main event he had the fastest laps and was battling back and forth for 1st place. On the fifth lap, on turn three, he rolled the truck and landed on all four. Was a total bummer that he wasn't able to finish but we were all happy to know that he was safe! We'll get 'em next time!!!
